When I "svn checkout" using the mentioned URL, all I get is an empty repository.
Did I miss anything ?

Hello,

You are correct - the SVN link (which is supplied by default) has no relevance. The TestApi package (which includes all TestApi binaries and source code) is available over the releases tab.

The Source Code option is a convenient mechanism for teams that want to do development through the CodePlex site. Our team operates with an internal version control system, which at this point, is not coupled to the Codeplex site.

Thanks,

Peter

Keep in mind, you're probably going to lose some potential users if there's not SVN/TFS access to the source code.

You've got a fair point there- We are talking about this one...

How we expose the code tree over TFS without the process becoming a costly burden(which would compete with feature development) is the primary issue we are considering right now.
